Piezoelectric properties of Mn-doped (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.94Ba0.06TiO3 ceramics prepared by Sol-Gel method

  • The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of (Bi0.5Na0.50.94Ba0.06TiO3+x wt%Mn (x=0-0.4) ceramics prepared by sol-gel method were studied. It is found that small amount of Mn addingcan decrease dielectric constant and dielectric loss but increase piezoelectric constant and depolarization temperature.The Mn-doped (Bi0.5Na0.51-xBaxTiO3x=0.1) ceramics have large piezoelectric constant (d33=175×10-12C/N), large electromechanical coupling coefficient (kt=56%,kp=26%p),relatively lower dielectric loss (tgδ=2.7%) and relatively higher depolarization temperature(Td=82℃).
