Preparation of photoinitiator with α-hydroxyketone bifunctional groups

Photoinitiator is an important component of ultraviolet（UV） light-sensitive resin curing system,one of the main factors that determine the cure rate and degree of cure,meanwhile it plays a decisive role in light curing systems. In the paper,diphenylmethane and α-bromo isobutyryl chloride were used as starting materials,a bifunctional α-hydroxyketone photoinitiator was prepared through efficient,green method. Structure and related properties of target compounds had completely been characterized by NMR,IR,Mass and HPLC
