金刚石纳米线尺寸对表面性能的影响

Effect of diamond nanowires structure on surface properties

  • 摘要: 本文针对金刚石纳米线的结构与表面性能的关系, 通过第一性原理计算, 建立了不同形状和尺寸的金刚石纳米线模型, 研究了尺寸稳定性和对氧原子的吸附性能。结果表明: 金刚石纳米线(111)面在1 ~2原子层表面出现了重构, 只有达到一定尺寸时才具有结构稳定性。纳米线整体具有良好的吸附性, 但不同表面的吸附性能具有很大差异, 纳米线的侧面吸附性要大于表面吸附性能。该研究为纳米金刚石在生物材料的应用提供重要的理论参考。

     

    Abstract: Aiming at the relationship between the structure and surface properties of diamond nanowires, diamond nanowires models of different shapes and sizes were established through first-principles calculations, The dimensional stability of diamond is studied and adsorption of oxygen atoms on diamond.The results show that the (111) surface of diamond nanowires is reconstructed on the surface of 1 ~2 atomic layers, and only when the size reaches a certain level, it has structural stability.The nanowires have good adsorption as a whole, but the adsorption performance of different surfaces is very different, and the side adsorption of nanowires is greater than that of surface adsorption.This study provides an important theoretical reference for the application of nanodiamond in biomaterials.
