Abstract:
Distributed Raman fiber sensing technology with excellent properties has become one of the main methods in temperature monitoring fields. This paper describes the fundamental sensing principle of distributed optical fibertechnology measuring temperature which based on Raman optical time domain reflectometry(ROTDR) and Raman optical frequency domain reflectometry(ROFDR). Then, this paper summaries the research progress of ROTDR and ROFDR, reviews the latest research achievements, and analyzestheir innovation and existing problem.Finally, their application prospects are forecasted comprehensively.
