Abstract:
Multilayer PBNN piezoelectric ceramic actuators were fabricated by stacked and tape casting method, respectively. The applied field displacement characteristics of multilayer PBNN piezoelectric ceramic actuators were analyzed and compared with that of actuator madeof conventional PZT-5 piezoelectric ceramics. It was found that PBNN actuator had a narrower hysteresis and a better linearity and exhibiteda symmetric displacement for positive and negative applied field in the applied field-displacement characteristics. The different performanceof PBNN and PZT 5 actuators were discussed on the basis of the peroveskite structure of PZT-5 and the tungsten brazen structure of PBNN, respectively.
