Abstract:
The structure and dielectric properties of Bi
2O
3-ZnO-Nb
2O
5 based ceramics doped by Sm
2O
3 (Bi
1.5-xSmxZn
0.5)(Zn
0.5Nb
1.5)O
7 were investigated. It shows that the crystal structure of the undoped (Bi
1.5Zn
0.5)(Zn
0.5Nb
1.5)O
7 samples is pure cubic pyrochlore. For the lower concentration of Sm
2O
3 (0≤
x≤ 0.5), the crystal structure is still cubic pyrochlore. With the amount of Sm
2O
3(
x≥ 0.6) increasing, the other phase such as Sm
3NbO
7 is formed in the crystal structure. The dielectric properties change regularly with the structure.
