Abstract: All optical communication network is the inevitable trend of the development of optical communication,optical passive devices is an important component of all-optical communication network construction. Through the introduction of optical passive devices--optical fiber connector,optical splitter,an isolator,attenuator,WDM in the cable television（ CATV） uses in the network,analyzes the performance parameters of common optical passive device. Combining the development of CATV network,design the application of optical passive devices in the cable television network transformation.
