SC铸片微结构对烧结NdFeB结构与磁性能的影响

Influence of casting strip microstr ucture on the structure and magnetic properties of sintered NdFeB magnets

  • 摘要: 研究了铸片工艺SC(StripCasting)制备的合金铸片的微结构对烧结钕铁硼磁体微结构与磁性能的影响。结果表明:冷却速度过高时铸片厚度变薄,同时在急冷面产生细小的等轴晶,使烧结磁体容易出现固固烧结现象和主相晶粒的反常长大,降低了磁体的永磁性能;采用合适的冷却速度制备的铸片几乎全部由厚度3~5μm片状晶组成,且被富钕相薄层均匀隔开,采用该类铸片可以获得高永磁性能的烧结磁体,其永磁性能达到:Br=1.44T,jHc=877KA/m,(BH)max=398kJ/m3(50MGOe)。

     

    Abstract: The influences of the microstructu re of casting strip on the microstructure and magnetic pro-perties of sintered NdFeB magnets we re investigated.The microstructures of the casting strip and sintered magnet were examined by Scanning Ele ctronic Microscope.The experiment al results show that when the cooling speed is too high,the thickness of the columnar plate of the main phase decreases and the over-small isometric grains appear on the cooling surface,both of the above re sult in the solid-solid sintering,unusually grain growing of the main phase(2:14:1)during the sintering process and decreasing the hard magnetic properties of the magnet.W hen the cooling speed is suitable,the main phase grain of casting strip possesses the uniform columnar plate structure with thickness of 3~5μm separated by Nd-rich phase thin layer,which can be used to prepare the high performance sintered magnets.The magnetic properties of sintered NdFeB magnets prepared by the optimum process are listed as follows:Br=1.44T,j Hc=877KA/m,(BH)max=398kJ/m3 (50MGOe).
