Abstract:
Two photovoltaic devices were fabricated with configurations of ITO/PEDOT-PSS/C8-PPE-BT + PCBM(1/4,w/w)/Ba/Al;ITO/PEDOTPSS/C8-PPE-BT + MEH-PPV(1/1,w/w)/Ba/Al,respectively.Both devices show photovoltaic effect.Device based on PPE-BT and PCBM shows the highest η
e of 0.084% and EQE of 2.7% which is enhanced by a factor of 23 compared with that of the pure C8-PPE-BT device.When PPE-BT is blended with MEH-PPV donor,η
e is 3.67×10
-3%,which is lower.Because the electrons mobility are inferior than holes within the copolymers and electrons would be trapped before reaching the electrode.
