Abstract:
The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of (Bi
0.5Na
0.5)
0.94Ba
0.06TiO
3+x wt%Mn (
x=0-0.4) ceramics prepared by sol-gel method were studied. It is found that small amount of Mn addingcan decrease dielectric constant and dielectric loss but increase piezoelectric constant and depolarization temperature.The Mn-doped (Bi
0.5Na
0.5)
1-xBaxTiO
3 (
x=0.1) ceramics have large piezoelectric constant (
d33=175×10
-12C/N), large electromechanical coupling coefficient (
kt=56%,kp=26%p),relatively lower dielectric loss (
tgδ=2.7%) and relatively higher depolarization temperature(
Td=82℃).
