SOI——二十一世纪的微电子技术

SOI—THE MICROELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY IN THE 21st CENTURY

  • 摘要: 与体硅材料和器件比较,SOI具有许多独特的优越性,例如高开关速度、高密度、抗辐照、无闩锁效应等,因而被称为二十一世纪的微电子技术而引起人们越来越多的关注。SOI技术正走向商业应用阶段,特别是应用于高性能、低功耗CMOS电路,抗辐照器件和高温电子器件等。本文综述了SOI材料和器件的最新进展。

     

    Abstract: Because of many advantages of SOI (Silicon-on-Insulator) in comparison with bulk silicon, such as high switching speed, high packing density, radiation hardness, avoidance of latch-up, this technology,as the microelectronics technology in the 21st century, is gaining more and more interest. The SOI technology is now moving into commercial product applications, particularly for high performace and low power CMOS circuits, radiation hardness devices and high temperature electronics. The recent important progress in SOI materials and devices is reviewed.
