Abstract:
SnO
2 nanorods with rutile structure were prepared by calcining precursor powders.The powders were prepared by solid state reaction at room temperature.The precursor grew into SnO
2 nanorods via self assembly during being annealed at 660-785℃ in molten salt medium.The structure and morpho1ogy of SnO
2 nanorods were investigated by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectrum(XPS).The formation processes of SnO
2 nanorods was explained by solid state transformation mechanism.
