Abstract: In this paper, the study on recognition of components in mixed gases and quantitative measurement of their concentration by using an array composed of non-selective gas sensors with different sensitivity, neural-network pattern recognition and information processing techniques are carried out. The method of neural-network pattern recognition applied for data processing in the gas sensing array is described in detail.
