Abstract:
A larger area blue thin film electroluminescent display panel was made, the emitting layer was SrS:Ce that was prepared in H
2 atmosphere. The highest brightness of no-matrix panel was 900cd/m
2 under 1000Hz. The brightness of matrix panel was 30cd/m
2 and the area was 40mm×75mm. The number of image unit was 80 × 150 lines and the area was 0.3mm × 0.3mm. The SrS:Ce phosphors were prepared by reducing SrSO
4 in H
2 or CS
2 atmosphere. Different synthesis methods and the structure of SrS:Ce were investigated. Also the influence of the Ce
3+ concentration on PL characteristics was analyzed, and the EL performance characteristics was studied in detail.
