一种热电式变压器的制作及其特性研究

Fabrication and performance investigation of thermoelectric transformers

  • 摘要: 基于热电材料的帕尔帖效应和塞贝克效应,本论文设计、制作和测试了一种热电式变压器,以应用于低频等使用场景。该变压器的核心部件由两片热电片组成,其中一片热电片作为输入端实现电-热能量转换,另一片热电片作为输出端实现热-电能量转换,从而实现电压的升降,这完全不同于传统的电磁式和压电式变压器。测试结果表明,使用0.01Hz的电压作为输入电压时,在降压模式下该变压器的降压比47.70,在升压模式下其升压比为0.31。

     

    Abstract: On basis of Peltier and Seebeck effects,a type of electric transformer was designed,fabricated and tested for the application of voltage transformation at low frequency. The critical components of this transformer are two plate-like thermoelectric modules. Among them,one thermoelectric module acts as input side to convert electric energy into thermal energy,another module works as output side to convert thermal energy into electric energy. Therefore,the electric transformation principle of the thermoelectric transformer is remarkedly different from that of traditional electromagnetic and piezoelectric transformers.The investigation indicates that when the frequency of input voltage is 0. 01 Hz,the transformation ratio is 47. 70 and 0. 31 for the bucking and boosting modes,respectively.
