电流变流体在平板缝隙内的流动特性研究

A study on flowing characteristics of ER fluids within the gap between flat plates

  • 摘要: 为了从宏观角度研究电流变流体在平板缝隙内的流动,配制了一种电流变流体,并设计了实验装置,对电流变流体在平板缝隙内的流动进行了流体力学分析。通过实验建立了电流变流体在平板缝隙内流动时,缝隙前后压差ΔP、流量Q及加在缝隙上的电场强度E的关系方程,实验结果与理论结果对照发现:ΔPE增加而增加,这一趋势是一致的,但流量越大,理论值与实验值偏差越大,并对其影响因素进行了讨论。

     

    Abstract: In order to study the flowing characteristics of the Electro-Rheological fluid(ERF)in the gap of flat plates by macroscopical method, an electrorheological fluids is compounded, and the apparatus is designed too. The theoretical analysis of the fluid mechanics on the flow of the electro-rheological fluid in the gap of flat plates is carried out. The equation relating the pressure ΔP of the gap, flux Q and electric field intensity E applied on the gap of flat plates is presented. The experimental and theoretical results are compared with each other. With the increase of flux, the error between the experimental and theoretical results is increased. The factors affecting the error are discussed.
