Abstract:
A pure SrS host and SrS:Bi
3+, Cu
+ phosphors with blue green color afterglow were synthesized by microwave radiation method (MRM) for the first time. The crystal structures were determined by XRD. The influence of different Bi
3+ and Cu
+ concentrations on luminescent properties of these phosphors were studied. The experimental results show that the main peak values of the excitation and the emission spectra of the products obtained under microwave radiation conditions were constantly at 267 and 521 nm, respectively. The optical time of the afterglow of the phosphor dopped with Bi
3+ and Cu
+ was about 0.5 h.
