Abstract:
Cuprous oxide/reduced graphene(Cu
2O/rGO) photocatalyst was prepared by organic acid-assisted regulation and low-temperature liquid phase precipitation method. Structure of Cu
2O/rGO photocatalysts were characterized by FTIR, FESEM, Raman and XRD. The results showed that the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange dye by Cu
2O/rGO was 98.3% at the first time and 86.2% at the fifth time. XRD indicated that Cu
2O/rGO photocatalyst was mainly composed of cuprous oxide with high crystallinity and high purity. FTIR preliminarily indicated that Cu
2O/rGO photocatalyst had characteristic absorption peaks of reduced graphene and Cu
2O. Raman spectrum indicated that Cu
2O/rGO photocatalyst had the composition and structure of reduced graphene. FESEM demonstrated that Cu
2O/rGO photocatalyst had porous structure, and Cu
2O particles with particle size of 40-60 nm were deposited on the surface of reduced graphene in layers or sheets
