Abstract:
Crystallization dynamics of Sm
5Fe
74.3Nb
1.5Si
11.7B
4.5C
2.5Cu
0.5 amorphous alloy was studied after pre-annealing at 400℃ for 10min.Results show that the crystalline phase in the alloy are α-Fe solid solution and Sm
2Fe
17C
x intermetallic compound.The apparent crystallization activation energy of these phases is 557kJ/mol and 514kJ/mol respectively.The activation energy of α-Fe phase is maximal,when the crystallized fr action,X
c is 60%;while the activation energy of Sm
2Fe
17C
x decreases with increasing of the crystallized fraction montonically.
