Abstract:
Organic amines are a kind of important environmental pollutants and disease markers.with phenothiazine as electron donor and 4-fluorobenzophenone as acceptor group via a substitution at its position 10, a fluorescent probe PTZ-BP-F with reversible response to organic amine vapor was designed and synthesized. In saturated organic amine vapor, the fluorescence quenching of the probe film can reach~99% within 20 s.Among them, diethylamine vapor can trigger almost a complete quenching in 5 s, and the detection limit for n-propylamine vapor is as low as 3 ppb.Spectroscopic results indicated that, the detection comes from the reversible reaction of the carbonyl group on PTZ-BP-F with the amine group of organic amines, which inhibited the intramolecular charge transfer from phenothiazine group to 4-fluorobenzophenone group in the molecule, leading to the emission wavelength of probe molecule shift blue.
