Abstract:
The crystalline and amorphous Ti
2Cu
0.8Ni
0.2 were hydrogenated. At low degree of hydrogenation the hydrogen atom is ainterstitial atom which enter the tetrahedral hole of Ti. It does not affected deeply the structure of alloys. A solid solution was formed. If the hydrogenation is heavy, the alloys, both crystalline andamorphous, reacted with the hydrogen. Some alloy phases andhydrides different from the primary alloys were formed. Amorphous Ti

0.2 crystallized to crystalline Ti
2Cu
0.8Ni
0.2 during heating at 600℃.
