小型化低损耗SMT型Ku波段微带环行器的设计和制作

摘要: 本文选用Mg-Mn系铁氧体材料设计并制作出低损耗的Ku波段SMT型微带环行器。为实现器件的小型化同时满足较大的带宽,本文在传统双Y结基础上,借助HFSS三维全电磁仿真计算,设计出"鱼翅形"结内加抗的微带旋磁结;为实现SMT型封装,同时兼容铁氧体上微带电路薄膜制作工艺,本文在载板微带与环行器微带之间设计了空气填充的金属化过孔结构,用HFSS对过孔结构进行了优化设计;为实现环行器的独立性,与系统中其它元器件互不干扰,本文采用高磁导率St12金属做屏蔽罩,同时实现电磁屏蔽和磁传导。最后根据优化设计结果进行器件制作和测试,测试结果表明本文设计的SMT型环行器全封装尺寸达8mm×9mm×4mm,在15GHz~18.6GHz频段范围内插损<0.7dB,隔离>18dB,驻波<1.35,与外界无电磁互扰,性能良好,且适合大规模自动化贴装。Abstract: in this paper,based on Mg-Mn ferrite Material and simulation by the HFSS,a Ku-band broadband miniaturized SMT microstrip circulator was designed and fabricated successfully; In order to realize the miniaturization of the device and satisfy the requirement of large bandwidth,a microstrip gyro-magnetic junction with comb structure is designed based on the traditional double-Y junction theory and the three-dimensional full electromagnetic simulation of HFSS; In order to realize SMT packaging and compatible with the fabrication process of microstrip circuit thin film on ferrite,the air-filled metal through-hole structure between bottom microstrip and circulator microstrip was designed in this paper,and optimized through-hole structure by HFSS; In order to realize the independence of circulator and non-interference with other components in the system,St12 metal with high permeability was used as shielding cover,this can shield electromagnetic signals and realize magnetic conduction at the same time.Finally,the device was fabricated and tested according to the optimal design results. the test results show that the SMT circulator designed in this paper has a full package size of 8 mm* 9 mm* 4 mm,this circulator bandwidth reaches 20%,Loss<0.7 dB,Isolation>18 dB,VSWR<1.35,The circulator has no electromagnetic interference with the outside world,and it is suitable for large-scale automatic mounting.
