Abstract:
TiO
2 films, TiO
2-ZnO composite films and Ag
+/TiO
2-ZnO composite films were synthesized by sol-gel process. The crystal phase, size of particles and surface morphology of the film samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy. The effects of annealing temperature, amount of Ag
+ and treatment method on hydrophilic-lipophilic property on induced Amphilicity of the TiO
2, TiO
2-ZnO and Ag
+/TiO
2-ZnO films were investigated using H
2O as polarity solution and C
6H
6 as non-polarity solution. The results indicate that Ag
+ doping appropriately can provide induced Amphilicity,When doped amount of Ag
+ is 1%,the film of Ag
+ZnO/TiO
2 film has the best induced Amphilicity. Annealing temperature affect the size of particles, the composition and roughness of films notably, and then lead to a remarkable change in induced Amphilicity of the films. The films annealed at 550℃,treatment with acid or heat and induced Amphilicity of the Ag
+/TiO
2-ZnO composite films is best. The size of particles is about 21.1 nm. In this best condition, the contact angle is 2°(0.5°). Ag
+/TiO
2-ZnO films is the best among pure TiO
2 films,TiO
2-ZnO composite films and Ag
+/TiO
2-ZnO composite films.
