Abstract:
The crystallization process of amorphous Fe
77Cr
7B
16 was investigated through X-ray diffraction and TEM. Samples were annealed at temperatures varying from 80 to 510
0C for 15 minutes. For all samples the Curie temperatures (Tc) were measured. It was shown that the crystallization is a nucleation and growth process for amorphous Fe
77Cr
7B
16 and the logarithm of crystalline fraction increases linearly with increasing annealing temperature. It was found that Tc of amorphous phase remains unchanged at low annealing temperature, but raises gradually with increase of the crystallization fraction.
