Abstract: As a novel material of II-VI semiconductor, ZnO thin film is used widely and effectively in the fields of surface acoustic wave devices, solar cells, gas sensors, varistors and so on, which are introduced in detail. The present development for ultraviolet detectors, LEDs and LDs of zinc oxide thin films are reviewed as well.
