Abstract:
MnZn ferrites doped with CaO-B
2O
3-SiO
2(CBS) glass were prepared by traditional ceramic technique.The effects of CBS glass doping amounts and sintering temperature on the sintering behavior and the magnetic properties of MnZn ferrites were investigated.The experimental results indicate that the density of samples becomes smaller as the CBS doping amounts increasing, and the magnetic properties of samples increase as the sintering temperature increasing.Liquid phase appears when doping appropriate amount of CBS, which can generate liquid sintering among solid particles and promote the growth of grains.Compared with the sintered products without CBS, the initial permeability(μ
i) and the saturation magnetic induction(Bs) of the samples doped with 1%(mass fraction) CBS both increase, and the coercive force(Hc) decreases.However, the magnetic properties of ferrites decline when continuing to increase the CBS doping amounts.MnZn ferrite doped with 1% CBS glass sintered at 1310℃ for 3h obtained the optimum comprehensive magnetic properties:μ
i=271, Bs=416mT, Hc=76.5A/m.
