Abstract:
Magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical coprecipitation and modified by chitosan(CS@MNPs).CS@MNPs were characterized by TEM,XRD,FT-IR,VSM,zeta potential analyzer and clinical 1.5-T MR imager. It was ideally nanoparticles in medical applications own to their smaller size(16.5nm),positive surface charge(pH 7.4),superparamagnetic behaviour. Its relaxation time T1,T2,in particular T*2 had a strong response by using a clinical 1.5-T MRI imager. It was well-dispersion in double distilled water and RPMI 1640 containing 10% FCS.It has demonstrated the potential to be as a MRI contrast agent.
