Abstract:
By using MD(molecular dynamics) method,the collision and energy-transmission of C
60 fullerenes in Ar doped nano-peapod was simulated,and the effect of the doped-Ar density ρ and the initial energy E
0 of the incident C
60 fullerene on the energy-transmission rate was analyzed.It is shown that(1) the C
60 fullerenes in the nano-peapod transfer energy by compressing each other,and(2) the lower the Ar density ρ and the energy E
0 of the incident C
60 fullerene are,the higher the energy-transmission rate of C
60 in the nano-peapod is.
