Abstract:
The characteristics of Ag-doped CuO-BaTiO
3 based CO
2 gas sensor was investigated. The sensitivity of the CuO-BaTiO
3 sensor with doping ratio of Ag was analyzed. The doping ratio of Ag element influences sensitivity, operating temperature, and resistance of the sensor. By adding appropriate amounts of Ag, the chemical activity of CuO-BaTiO
3 is increased, and the sensitivity is strengthened. The detection range for the Ag-doped CuO-BaTiO
3 is from 1.0×10
-4to 10% of and lowest detection is 1.0 × 10
-4 of CO
2. Stability of Ag-doped CuO-BaTiO
3 was also analyzed.
