Abstract: A novel luminescent coating with strontium aluminate co-doped by Eu²⁺ and Dy³⁺ as the luminescent substance and water miscible acrylic emulsion as film forming agent was produced. The coating is environmentally friendly and has longer luminescence afterglow time and higher luminescent intensity than corresponding luminescent powder.
