By using sub-overquenching and ann ealing methods,the effect of quench ing rates on the microstructure and the magnetic pro perties of(Nd,Pr)

6 bonded composite magnets with low rare-earths content was investi gated.The melted alloy were spun into ribbons at 24,26,28,30m·s
-1 wheel surface speed and then the ribb ons were annealed at 655~715℃ for 5~20min.Spun at 26m·s
-1,the as-spun ribbons consist of amorphous phases mixed with fine crystallites.And after crystallization in 700℃for 10min,the ribbons have a finer average grain size(about 30nm on free surface) and a more homogeneous microstructu re.The optimal magnetic properties of bonded magnets reaching
