Abstract:
The Co
3O
4 materials have been synthesized via hydrothermal method,using sucrose as cobaltous nitrate Co(NO
3)
3,hexamethylenetetramine(C
6H
12N
4) and ammonium acid carbonate(NH
4HCO
3).The physical properties of Co
3O
4 powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electronic microscopy(SEM).The electrochemical properties of Co
3O
4 powders were characterized by cyclic voltammogram and galvanostatic charge/discharge measurements in 6mol·L-1 KOH electrolyte with the potential range from 0.0 to 0.4V(vs.SCE).The results demonstrated that the Co
3O
4 by
6H
12N
4 for the precipitation agent had a good stability performance.Its specific capacitance as single electrode was up to 239 F·g-1,that is 1.57 times of the Co
3O
4 specific capacitance by NH
4HCO
3 for the precipitation agent.It is indicated that the Co
3O
4 were prepared by
6H
12N
4 as precipitating agent has good electrochemical capacitance performance.
