Abstract:
WO
3 ceramic samples doped with different content of strontium carbonate from 0.2 to 10mol% were prepared with conventional electroceramic techniques.The microstructure and basic electrical characteristics of these samples were investigated.For the amount of Sr there is a turning value of around 2mol% at which the microstructure and electrical properties of WO
3 ceramics exhibit an obvious variation.The sample with 0.2 mol% SrCO
3 displays the highest nonlinear coefficient of 8.7 within current region from 1mA/cm
2 to 10mA/cm
2.Some samples of Sr-doped WO
3 were found to exhibit instable electrical properties,which were attributed to the emergence of polarization at grain boundary and phase coexistence.
