Abstract:
Monodisperse SiO
2 particles were synthesized by Stöber method using ultrasound field. The SiO
2/TiO
2 core-shell particles were prepared by Pechini sol-gel method. The crystal phases and micromorphology were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Scanning electron microscope(SEM).The results show that the SiO
2 particles are monodisperse non-crystalline solid particles about 300nm.The SEM images of TiO
2 powders show wide distribution of TiO
2 particles having varied shape. And the large TiO
2 particles are larger than 10μm.The micromorphology of SiO
2/TiO
2 particles changes significantly with the increment of Ti/Si(mol/mol).SiO
2/TiO
2 core-shell particles could be obtained when Ti/Si=1:3.
