稀土贮氢合金表面特性的改善

Improvement on the surface performance of mischmetal-based hydrogen storage alloy

  • 摘要: 用EDTA二钠对AB5型贮氢合金进行了表面处理。结果表明,该处理对合金的最大放电容量和大电流放电能力没有明显的影响,但是处理后贮氢合金电极的1C放电电位较未处理合金电极负约14 mV,而充电电位比未处理合金低约17 mV。这有利于提高MH-Ni电池的放电电压和降低充电电压。ICP-AES分析结果表明,处理液中含有合金金属的离子。XPS实验表明,处理后的合金表面有较低的氧含量。

     

    Abstract: Mischmetal-based hydrogen storage alloy was treated with EDTA.The results of ICP-AES and XPS show that the surface of treated alloy has lower oxygen content and higher metal element content.The treatment is of help to enhance discharge voltage and reduce charge voltage of MH-Ni battery.But it has no obvious effect on the max discharge capacity and large current discharge ability of alloy.
