Abstract: The mechanism of short metallic fibre enhancing the conductivity of Ni paint, which is used to shielding against electromagnetic wave, was studied. The results showed that, short metallic fibre could increase the conductivity of Ni paint in great degree, which was mainly caused by increasing the density of conductive net in the Ni paint. The shielding effectiveness of composite paint was also studied and forecasted theoretically in this paper.
