2 microcrystallines were synthesized by solid-state reactions:the crystal structure,surface morphology and room temperature photoluminescenee properties of the microcrgstallines were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),scanning electron mierograph(SEM)and fluo. rescence analysis(FL),respectively.XRD results confirm that the obtained Li
4-3x Eu
x (MoO
4)
2 micro crystallines all are typical scheelite structure with tetragonal symmetry . SEM measurements show that the grain size of Li
4-3x Eu
x (MoO
4)
2 microcrystallines decreases with the increasing x.varies in the range of 0.2-1.4 m.Fluorescence analysis results reveal that these phosphors can be effectivelv excited bv ultraviolet(395 nm) light,emitting the maxium line at 614nm with pure red light.The emission intensity of the two characteristic emission peaks of Eu
3+ ion(1ocated at 592nm and 614nm)initially increases.reaches the maximum at 1.0,and then decreases with the increasing x.
