Abstract: According to the development of the current display technologies,this paper introduces the history,the classification and principle of cathode ray tube（CRT） and flat panel display（FPD）,respectively. Then,the defects and challenges of various display technologies are described in this paper.Finally,the current QDs display technology is also briefly prospected.
