Abstract: Agglomerating sedimentation is the main problem which restricts the use of magnetor-heological fluid(MRF)in engineering.In this paper,from the state of sedimentation,the conception and formation process of softsedime ntation MRF are put forward.Based on the above theory,two kinds of softsedimentation MRF using emul sifier OPE and organic clay as thixotropic agent,are manufactured.At last,the working mechanism of above two kinds of admixtures is discuss ed.
