Abstract:
It is important to improve the high-rate discharge ability and low-temperature discharge performance of negative electrode of Ni/MH battery.The two important performances above of commercial MlNi
3.55Co
0.75Mn
0.4Al
0.3 hydrogen storage alloy were improved by using B -Ni alloy as B additive .The results show that the alloy doped with B exhibits has superior electrochemical kinetic properties,which can be ascribed to the formation of CeCo
4B type secondary phase.MlNi

0.3 hydrogen storage alloy can meet the requirements of high-power type and low-temperature type Ni/MH battery.
