一种基于四模谐振器的小型化双通带滤波器的设计

Design of aDual-band Filter with Miniaturization Based on a Quadruple-mode Resonator

  • 摘要: 提出了一种基于四模谐振器的小型化双通带滤波器的实现方法。该四模谐振器是在弯折后两端开路加载开路枝节的双模谐振器的一侧增加两个开路枝节实现,减小了滤波器的尺寸。另外,采用集总电容替代开路传输线的等效电容法进一步实现了滤波器的小型化设计。引入源-负载耦合结构产生传输零点,加强了带外抑制。通过LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic,低温共烧陶瓷)工艺实现的双通带滤波器性能良好,两通带内的插入损耗均小于1.5dB,回波损耗均大于15dB,带外抑制均超过20dB,其中高频通带高频端的阻带抑制和两通带之间的阻带抑制均超过30dB,体积仅为4.8mm×4.2mm×1.5mm,测试曲线与HFSS仿真曲线吻合良好。该四模双通带滤波器具有选择性高、体积小等优点,具有很好的应用价值,并且为LTCC多频带通滤波器的设计提供了新思路。

     

    Abstract: An implementation method of the miniaturized dual-band filter based on a quadruple-mode resonator is proposed. The quadruple-mode resonator is realized by adding two open-circuit branches to one side of the two-mode resonator with an open-circuit branch loaded at both open-circuit ends after bending, which could reduce the size of the filter. In addition, the equivalent capacitance method of lumped capacitance instead of open-circuit transmission lines is used to further realize the miniaturized design of the filter. The introduction of the source-load coupling structure produces transmission zeros that enhance out-of-band suppression. The dual-band filter realized by LTCC(Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) has good performance. The insertion loss in two passbands is less than 1.5 dB, the return loss is greater than 15 dB, and the out-of-band suppression is more than 20 dB. The stopband suppression at the high-frequency passband and between the two passbands is more than 30 dB. The volume is only 4.8 mm×4.2 mm×1.5 mm. The measurement curves show a good match with the HFSS simulation. The quadruple-mode dual-band filter has advantages of high selectivity and small volume, and has good application value, and provides a new idea for the design of LTCC multi-band bandpass filters.
