Abstract:
When Mn
2+ doped to some interstitial substances,luminescence was very weak.So the appropriate sensitized substance was choosed to increase luminescence efficiency,The researchful purpose validate that Eu
2+ is favorable sensitized substance of Mn
2+.CaZn
2(PO
4)2:Eu
2+,Mn
2+ phosphor was synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction,and its luminescence properties were investigated.When the sample doped single Eu
2+,its emission peak locating at 504nm,which correspond to 5d-4f transition of Eu
2+.The excitation peak locating at 380nm,which correspond to f-d broadband absorption of Eu
2+.The sample which doped single Mn
2+ was not luminescent,when it doped together Eu
2+,Mn
2+: 673 nm emission peak of Mn
2+ appeared,the phosphor show excellent red emission.It is suggested that Mn
2+ ion is sensitized strongly by Eu
2+ ion,The effect of the molar concentration of Eu
2+ and Mn
2+ on excitation and emission spectra were also studied.It demonstrated that the energy transfer between Eu
2+ and Mn
2+ is due to resonance energy transfer in CaZn
2(PO
4)2:Eu
2+,Mn
2+.
