Abstract: The operation model of cymbal piezocomposite transducer was studied by using finite element analysis method on axisymmetrical thin shell truncated conical unit.The longitudinal displacements of cymbal piezocomposite transducer under applied electric field were calculated,and its dependence on the dimensions of metal endcap and piezoelectric ceramic disk was also analyzed.The theoretical results were compared with the experimental results.
