Abstract: With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, the recycling and utilization of retired power batteries has become a highly discussed topic. Retired power batteries contain a significant amount of valuable metals, such as aluminum, cobalt, lithium, etc.The recycling and reuse of these metals not only reduces resource waste but also lowers production costs and mitigates environmental pollution. This article will focus on the recycling and utilization of aluminum materials in retired power batteries, including the sources of aluminum (current collectors, battery pack hardware and casing), recycling technologies, and reuse pathways.
