Abstract:
The advancement of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data, 5G, and industrial Internet, has propelled the metauniverse from the realm of science fiction to reality. The metaverse constitutes a digital realm that bridges the virtual and physical worlds, and devices leveraging technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (ER) facilitate an interactive fusion between the virtual and the real. Interactive floating imaging technology, as an AR technology, utilizes negative refractive lenses to refocus diverging light and project images into the air. By integrating optical, sensory interaction and spatial sensing technologies, interactive manipulation of floating display screens is achieved. In recent years, this technology has garnered widespread attention across various industries, including healthcare, education, entertainment, and automotive sectors. Particularly noteworthy is its increased adoption during the recent three-year pandemic. Since its non-contact and interactive advantages, floating imaging technology has found extensive application in environments such as train stations and hospitals where mitigating crossinfection risks is imperative.
