毫米波千瓦级固态功率放大器合成技术研究

Research on Combining Technology of Millimeter Wave Kilowatt Solid State Power Amplifier

  • 摘要: 本文针对毫米波千瓦级固态功率放大器的应用要求, 设计了一款带有隔离端的变异型四端口E面波导T型合成器, 设计结果显示在34 ~36 GHz, 输入输出端口的回波损耗均小于-20 dB, 隔离度优于-20 dB, 频带内信号插入损耗小于0.07 dB, 幅度不平衡度小于0.04 dB, 相位差为(180 ± 0.2)°。基于此T型合成器, 采用八路背靠背结构测试, 插入损耗小于0.6 dB, 波导网络合成效率达到90%。将该结构应用于固态微波功率放大器, 在34 ~36 GHz, 测得饱和输出功率为1 050 ~1 200 W; 线性增益为50 ~52 dB; 漏极效率为22% ~25%。

     

    Abstract: According to the application requirements of microwave millimeter wave kilowatt level solidstate power amplifier, a variant 4-port E-Plane Waveguide T-type combiner with isolation port is designed. The design results are that the return loss of input and output ports is less than -20 dB, the isolation is better than -20 dB, the signal insertion loss in frequency band is less than 0.07 dB, and the amplitude imbalance is less than 0.04 dB at 34 ~36 GHz, the phase difference is (180 ± 0.2)°. In the measurement process, 8 channel back-to-back test is adopted, the loss is less than 0.6 dB, and the combining efficiency of waveguide network reaches 90%. While the structure is applied to solid-state microwave power amplifier, at 34 ~36 GHz, the measured saturated output power is 1 050 ~1 200 W, the linear gain is 50 ~52 dB, and the drain efficiency is 22% ~25%.
