Abstract:
Organic field effect transistors, also named OFETs, have advantages of wide material sources, easy fabrication and good performance, which are known for the bright application prospects. One of the most prominent synthetic materials is the imide small molecules introduced in this paper. These molecules have advantages of simple preparation process, low cost and excellent performance. They are still in the emerging stage and have great research and application value. In recent years, the research on OFETs has also made a breakthrough and attracted extensive attention. Therefore, this paper reviews the research progress of OFETs made of imide small molecules in recent years, and expounds the working principle and some application directions of OFETs. In order to provide some reference for relevant research in the future, it focuses on different types of OFETs prepared with simple small molecules such as imide and their properties in recent years, and the application prospect of n-type OFETs represented by small molecules such as imide.
