Abstract
Compared with traditional sensors, the key materials of the flexible stress sensors(FSSs) are no longer limited to the metals and semiconductors. FSSs show the characteristics of softness and wearability, which have been widely used in many fields, such as electronic skin, intelligent monitoring, medical devices and human-computer interaction. Among many conductive materials, the conductive network material of silver nanowires is favored because of its excellent conductivity. However, the FSSs based on silver nanowire networks does not have satisfactory sensitivity. Therefore, how to improve the sensitivity of flexible sensors has become a hotspot in the research field of flexible silver nanowire-based electronic devices. This review focuses on the preparation of FSSs based on metallic silver nanowire networks, and mainly studies on the different strategies for improving the sensitivity of two types of sensors from the perspective of resistive and capacitive flexible sensors, which includes microstructure, patterning and doping etc.
